Jack of All Trades
Below are some more skills I have developed throughout my young career.
Communication
In addition to using communication skills in the classroom and workplace on a regular basis, I wrote 10 articles covering local high school football for the York Daily Record and GameTimePA in 2013. I brushed up on my writing skills and learned how to communicate with people online through reporting on sports. Click on the photo to view one of my reports.
Flexibility
While attending college full-time, I also work a full-time job in the manufacturing industry. I have put forth my best effort in both areas and stay extremely dedicated to achieving my goals. I will be posting a reccommendation from my current supervisor here soon.
Technological
I have gained experience with plenty of computer applications througout college. I have worked with most of Adobe's platforms, including Dreamweaver. Click the photo to view the website I created for my simulated baseball team for my Public Relations in Sports course. I have also worked with Sketch-Up design software in my facilities class.
Critical Thinking
I was able to use my critical thinking skills to complete a risk assessment of a local YMCA for my facility and event management course this semester. This assignment gave me the opportunity to identify the inherent danger associated with the supervision of a sport program. This assessment also helped me understand the responsiblities involved with being a facility manager.
